Hey Tony....Good Riddance!!

I for one couldn't be more happy that Tony Blair resigned. Unfortunately, he resigned for all the wrong reasons. He should have resigned for the way he betrayed the British people by becoming Bush's puppet to do as his master commanded. And for dragging the British army into a war that was unwarranted and a war that has proven to be one of the most atrocious crimes against humanity that the World has ever witnessed.

The only reason he did resign was so that he could take a new job as the Envoy to the Mideast peace Quartet of mediators. Say what? Tony Blair is the last person that can achieve peace over here. I think a lot of people resent both Blair and Bush for the whole Iraq war fiasco and they should be resented. I think Ol' Tony should be put out to pasture where he belongs and someone like Jimmy Carter of even Bill Clinton should be hired as the new mideast peace envoy.

But when, in the history of mankind, have politicans ever listened to the needs of the people?

Democracy is---------------------> DEAD !!

I have to agree with your position on Tony Blair's leadership and I too hope that the next prime minister of England can assist in cleaning up the mess he's left. As for his new position - considering that he's shown himself to be a fabulous puppet - one has to think that perhaps the new "middle east peace envoy" is yet another fiasco in which proven puppets, such as Tony Blair, will be used.

Allah subhana wa t'ala knows what's in store for the future for us - I guess that's why we're supposed to live each day as though it could be the last.

For many in Iraq, it's been just that.

Would you like some cheese with your wine?

Your post shows an astounding amount of ignorance and you need to check your facts.

It was not a crime to invade Iraq. They violated several UN and international laws, not to mention its failureto abide by the the 1991 cease fire terms.

And,It's Iraqis killing Iragis in the name of religion that is a travesty, not the US presence. Do you always accept what is spoon fed you?

O' brave 'anonymous', just because a country violates UN or international law, it doesn't give another country the right to invade them. If that were true, then many could make a case to invade the US.

Shut Up carly. As if "Carly" is any different from "anaoN'.

And, yes Iraq refusal and violation of the cease fire gave the US every right to invade them. After all, Iraq signed the cease fire .

I'm sick of whiney people like you and hugs that have no idea or knowledge of international laws or politics crying about things they have no control over nor the intelligence to comment on!.

Just STFU already and do something! Join the fight on one side or the other, I don't really care.

But, for God's sake, quit bitching while you sit on your worthless fat ass eating twinkies!

Hey James,

Sorry dude, but you're the one who does not know what he is talking about. What does a cease fire have to do with anything??? Iraq did not start this war back in 2003. And the US launched the attack on utter lies and without the support of the UN.
After September 11th Bush wanted heads to roll...Muslim heads. It is public knowledge, straight from the mouth of one of Bush's ex-advisors, that Bush demanded that he find a connection between 9/11, Al-Qaeda, and Iraq. And right after 9/11, the secretary of state was saying there was a connection but later it was proven to be yet another lie. Bush wanted to attack Iraq because, like he said, he wanted to launch a new Crusade (the old Crusade saw Christians invading Muslim lands to burn the Quran and kill Muslims). And that is exactly what he has done. An added bonus was that he could also steal Iraqi oil. do you think it is a coincidence that Vice President Dick Cheney's very own company Halliburton received the main contract for "rebuilding" Iraq?? Of course that are not rebuilding but rather stealing oil.

And I do agree with you that the sectarian violence is a disgrace. But if you look back at Islamic history you will find innumerbale incidents of invaders creating an atmosphere that makes the different sects fight amongst themselves. That way, the invaders can get on with business behind the scenes and draw attention away from themselves. Unfortunately, the Muslims (of which I am one) are too naive to see the tricks. And they do exactly what the invaders want them to do.

The war in Iraq is not about Freedom. It is about punishing Muslims and stealing oil. Oh and if you doubt me then answer this:
Why are American troops shown video of the 9/11 attacks during training and even on the flights to Iraq?? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Osama is from Saudi Arabia. How come the US did not attack them? Because Bush and his family have been in bed with Saudis for so many years.

Dude, they made a movie about this. Go rent a copy of Michael Moore's Farenheit: 9/11. It explains it all in simple terms. Or are you going to continue to accept what is spoon fed to you?

Sumi,
I don't think there is any way to reason with a person like james. He is full of vitriol, amongst other things.

Sumi,

You really are ignorant if your believe that rag Moore put out,
F 9/11. It's so full of lies and misdirection. But again, the pea brained masses will accept some garbage from Moore like this as they just can't comprehend reality on a global stage. You're probably one of those people that thinks 9/11 didn't happen, or it was a Jewish conspiracy. My God. Get a clue and stop publishing your ignorance!

Again, stop commenting on things of which you nothing about and that have been spoon fed to you by the media and religious zealots.

Yes, there was a directive issued (according to some)to attempt to link Iraq to 9/11. However, it had nothing to do with religion. It had to do with revenge. Stop being ignorant! And, the U.S. had every right to invade Iraq, based on the terms of the 1991 cease fire. It was gret mistake to invade under the pretenses that they invaded under. They should have just ssaid that they were invading based on violations of the cease fire and called it a day.

Bush doesn't want to kill Muslims. He want's to kill terrorists! It's not his fault they happen to be Muslims. It's Muslims that want to, and are, killing Muslims in Iraq. Go check the numbers. Stop defending terrorists. It's sick, and indicates you have mental issues.

Where is your evidence that someone is stealing oil? Come on! Your talking out your ass!
It is about attempting to control the outcome of terror and maintaining influence in the region. And, you know what, I hope the the allies kill every single terrorist in Iraq. I suppose you think that terrorists don't exist, or it is the fault of the west that they want to and do kill innocents.

And, the US didn't attack Saudi because Saudi is not an enemy of the US. Just as Egypt and Kuwait, are not an enemies. Stop being simple minded and accept reality! Extremists are a scourge and need to be wiped out! What kind of retarded question is this in the first place?

And, on top of that, Tony Blair's leadership is none of your damn business. Are you a citizen of the U.K.?

Finally, if your so concerned, take your ass to Iraq and do something about what bugs you.But stop bitching just because you think your entitled!
