Changing the Weekend???

It took me some getting used to when I first came here and discovered the weekend is on Thursday and Friday. But I have fallen in love with these days as the weekend. Thursday is my one day off..no cooking and no cleaning!!
But a recent report in the paper says Kuwait is considering changing the weekend to Friday and Saturday! Say it ain't so! Ugh!
